School Board

- The Board has been established in order to advise and assist the Principal and Pastor of Dolores Mission Elementary School on matters relating to the governance, development, finance, and management of Dolores Mission Elementary School (hereinafter called the “School”).
  The Archdiocese has the legal responsibility for the operation of the School.
  
  La Junta se ha establecido para asesorar y ayudar al director y al pastor de la Escuela Primaria Dolores Mission en asuntos relacionados con el gobierno, el desarrollo, las finanzas y la gestión de la Escuela Primaria Dolores Mission (en adelante denominada la “Escuela”).
  La Arquidiócesis tiene la responsabilidad legal del funcionamiento de la Escuela.
  
  Mission
  
  The Board Members’ mission will be to assist the Principal and the Pastoral Associate in ensuring the Catholic and Jesuit identity of the School; in providing for the financial support of the School, in preparing an annual operating budget; in determining and maintaining a continually appropriate physical facility; in the effective administration of the School’s policies as they affect students, faculty and staff; in assisting in the development and realization of long-range plans for the School; in representing the School to the various local communities of greater Los Angeles; in assisting the School in determining and maintaining an appropriate relationship with the greater Los Angeles and local communities; and in providing leadership and counsel on any subject requested by the Principal or the Pastoral Associate.
  
  La misión de los miembros de la Junta será ayudar al director y al asociado pastoral a garantizar la identidad católica y jesuita del colegio; en proporcionar el apoyo financiero de la Escuela, en preparar un presupuesto operativo anual; en determinar y mantener una instalación física continuamente apropiada; en la administración eficaz de las políticas de la Escuela que afectan a los estudiantes, profesores y personal; ayudar en el desarrollo y realización de planes a largo plazo para la Escuela; en representar a la Escuela ante las diversas comunidades locales del gran Los Ángeles; en ayudar a la Escuela a determinar y mantener una relación adecuada con el área metropolitana de Los Ángeles y las comunidades locales; y en proporcionar liderazgo y consejo sobre cualquier tema solicitado por el Director o el Asociado Pastoral.
